So absolutely love my RS6 Performance C7 2017! Huge upgrade from my S3 8P I used to have. However I am facing an issue hope you can help?!

I'm trying to attach a recording I managed to take but it won'taccept m4a format how can I send? It's makes this noise when going up hill, warm and in sport but also in comfort just less pronounced. Living in Swiss there is a lot of hills, it's a LHD and it can be heard louder on drivers side. If I hold it in manual 3rd gear it's the worse.

I took it to main dealer but typically the area where they are is flat and I couldn't produce the noise as good. I've sent them this recording but I want to see what you guys think. They say exhaust but me I'm thinking timing chain, valves, VVT or something like that.

I would think more an exhasut issue .. get the car to an inspection place and look around underneath. Tap the exhaust with a rubber mallet and see if the shields or inner core is rattling. Doubt the timing chains would make such a loud noise
