Replacing C7 Brake Disc & Pads

Post by ShaneyB » Mon Dec 02, 2024 4:26 pm

Hi all,

About to get my brakes replaced and just wondered if anyone has used after market products rather than Audi official?

Fronts with Audi are £2300.00
Rears with Audi are £1500.00

Any thoughts please?

Cheers
Shane

I replaced the front discs and pads on my car a few months ago using aftermarket items.

The rears had been changed by the previous owner not so long ago so I’ll wait and Neil they are needed.

I used these

Got 10% off and with shipping a pair of front discs costs me £895. I used Brembo for pads which I got from GSF for £122.

Thank you,

I was desperate so left it with Audi :drink:

Had both Lambda probes fail on route, front suspension bushes perishing, 4 prop shaft flange bolts were cross threaded and 2 had snapped. Near side heated mirror glass had failed.

Got the Lambda Probes and bushes done under extended warranty (£2700.00). All the work cost me £5600.00 :boohoo:

Was gonna sell it but will now keep it until it dies peacefully.
