RS6 brakes failing & rough idle.

Hi guys. Hope everyone is having a great evening.
Finally picked up a 2016 Audi RS6 last night from what I believed to be an established and reputable dealer. (company been around for 30 years)
Everything was fine on collection last night. This morning I noticed the car is idling very rough. Car feels like it's going over potholes and what not just sat idle.
The second issue I had - was as I was reversing - my brakes completely hardened up extremely dramatically and I was just about able to stop the car before reversing into someone.
I called the dealer - to talk about the rough idle. To my absolute shock he said I forgot to tell you it needs a vaccum replacement as the current vaccum has a tear in it? and we've sent the part out to you today. It should be an easy DIY fix. I couldn't believe it. He didn't mention which vaccum.
I mentioned the brakes and he dismissed it. I told him the two issues are closely linked (as per my research)
Any advice? I am considering whether to reject the car immediately, or see if this vaccum replacement does the trick.
Anyone recognise my cars symptoms and may know the issue?
