Going to need new discs & pads soon (and also tyres) gulp!
What’s the best (cheapest!) place for OEM discs and pads?

There are many posts on the forum regarding pads/disc & oem/specialist, I decided to go oem discs and brembo pads. Based on advice in the posts I sourced as follows:
Discs: Cardiff Audi - on ebay
Front Pads: Simplycarparts - on ebay
Rear Pads: Opie Oils
I was reluctant to get stuff for my car from ebay however I had no reservations when the bits arrived all genuine (you can even confirm the pads on brembo website with the QR codes - not infallible but gave me some reassurance).
I also got new fitting kits for the the front callipers (pins, anti rattle plate etc) from Cardiff Audi - I’d never done Brembo type caliper before so wasn’t sure what to expect - could probably have reused those bits I guess.
I found no cheap alternatives - saved maybe £500 by changing them myself - so a close call as to whether it would have been wiser/easier to just have Audi do it.

Just had a look at disc prices on ebay from Cardiff Audi - nearly £1000 more expensive for the set than I paid last June - ridiculous !! I presume the Audi price for the doing the job has gone up in line with this.

Just a heads up that the original disc manufacturer of the wavey discs is a german company call SHW (its stamped on the discs) who now sell via Autodoc. I picked up a set of fronts for £900 and the rears are sub £500 at the time of writing. Worth noting that Autodocs prices seem to be dynamic so jump around a bit, so worth tracking for a while before you actually need them. PS Cheapest Audi disc were £1250 via Crewe ebay, so a reasonable saving.
Also OEM pads are Brembo which come up at £80 (front) on Autodoc too.
