Hi guys
After my commute home from work, 35-40 mins of motorway driving, no hard acceleration and temperature gauge sitting at 90 is it normal for the cooling fan to run when i turn the car off?
Not had that with any other car, its cold outside, so no real need for the fan at normal operating temperature, car has carbon air box and aftermarket exhaust but is not tuned as far as I know/was told when buying
Thanks
Carl

Totally normal for my car (owned since new) even on slow(ish ) journeys. 4.0TFSI has multiple cooling systems and fan overrun (up to 10 minutes apparently) is a part of that https://www.audiworld.com/forums/attac ... -study.pdf.

Same on mine, even a slow run to the shops has the fan on when i park up, i guess its to help cool the turbos
