Hi all
I noticed this cream coloured tube hanging down behind the drives side rear wheel just inside the bumper corner, anyone know what it is please?
No error messages etc. and have established this morning that the flaps in the exhaust open and close ok (see my posts about the Miltek exhaust) so my immediate thought of a vacuum line cant be right.
Sorry for the poor picture and that its rotated to the left, dont know why re the picture, car is lowered sp its hard to get underneath on my driveway.
Thanks
Carl

MIGHT be the drain hose from the fuel filler housing - maybe be worth pouring some water in the housing to see if it drains out of the hose to confirm (with the petrol filler cap closed of course

)
[picture on ELSA shows saloon but gives the idea - it is well worth getting ELSA for yourself if you plan any DIY repairs]

Thanks feeltheburn, will definitely do that, appreciate the response. If it is that hose then it must have come loose.
Whats ELSA by the way LOL?

Google is your friend for more info on ELSAwin - essentially the same manual that the Audi techs have. I prefer having the program running on my mac (virtual machine) however I understand it is also available as a PDF - simpler as no install required and presumably still searchable (?)

Hi....How do i / what is the best way to get ELSA?
Thanks in advance!
I got my copy from ‘emanualonline’, US store with instant download; I am not affiliated with them in anyway; I am sure that there are many other sites that have it. I have kept my extended warranty going and downloaded ELSAwin to help when I was changing the discs and pads. It was a tradition in our family that whenever a family member got a different car we had to have the Haynes manual for it - I have always been fascinated with how things fit together since - indeed we still joke about the commonly used Haynes phrase "simply remove" because bolts on my older first cars tended to be well and truly rusted in place!
Just be sure to consider a version that is closest to your model year without jumping ahead in time i.e. facelift electronics are apparently quite different - mechanically the C7s are mostly similar though...let the debate commence
The added bonus you appear to get is that additional audi models up to the year of the ELSAwin that you download are also included - I was also able to use the version I downloaded for my wife's Q5 (rear internal parking buzzer would have been impossible for me to find let alone figure out how to get all of the trim off to get to it without breaking something else!)

**** UPDATE: It seems emanualonline have switched to pdf format rather than ELSAwin program format (I purchased May 2022) - I have no idea if the pdf content is any different or any good****
