Hi guys
Im sure this has been discussed many times, searching gives mixed opinions to some degree.
My new to me 2016 is fitted with DRC from factory and the previous owner installed H&R lowering springs, it looks great, arch gap is nice etc but it’s too bouncy when road surfaces aren’t smooth.
The car came with the original springs so can be returned to stock if I want, that was a condition of the purchase, Id see how it went, my family think it’s too much.
Before returning to stock is there anything that can be done to reduce the bounce, and still get a lower ride?
Thanks
Carl

Checking the (possibly) obvious - the drive select settings for dynamic makes the stock setup 'harder', H&R may not be effected...?

Re: 2016 RS6 on H&R Springs
I’ve driven with the Drive Select on Comfort to try to smooth out the bumps, based on feedback I’ve read all over the web that C is best for suspension. Will try in Dynamic too, thanks for the suggestion

Check that DRC is properly charged and working. If the car is "bouncy" it means that there is insufficient damping, not that the springs are too soft.
Re: 2016 RS6 on H&R Springs
Hi, ok will certainly do that, I assumed it was fine since its only covered low miles since the last Audi service and had some suspension components replaced by Audi a few weeks ago, and knowing how main dealers work, the chance to charge for extra work wouldnt be passed over no doubt.
In Dynamic its really bouncy, comfort and auto improves ride quality a lot.
Thanks

Re: 2016 RS6 on H&R Springs
Hi, I dont have any of the symptoms associated with DRC issues, knocking noises, floating steering to one side, increased body roll etc. other than being bouncy Id say it was fine. Would it be more likely that the spring rate isnt matched to damper rate or that the damper isnt fully working because of the shorter stroke due to the springs?
Thanks
Carl
