Ghost immobiliser vs Scorpion x series

So as the name suggests, Which immobiliser is best? The Ghost or the new Scorpion X series, the Scorpion website says it offers benefits over the Ghost but does not say what they are?

Scorpion has a useful service mode to disable the security until you decide to re-enable it. I’m not sure that the Ghost has the same, but may be wrong,

I tried to fit a Ghost to my 2017 C7 PE and the fitter could not do it due to the pre-17 cars having different wiring.

Anyone know of a suitable alternative?
