Noise from engine bay

Hello,

Yesterday driving normal and boom and hear a sound, uploaded here https://youtube.com/shorts/DwvF9ryCEYE?feature=share now, scanned today with carista and got 3 codes: P2096 is sometimes popping out, but other 2 are new to me, never got them. Deleted today and they not came out, my needed today drive to a Shop, about 2km from home, drove normally easy not pushing car, after returning back sound came in again while driving, but strange thing is that when you idle at traffic light sound on, but after you drive like 50km/h sound goes off, and it’s only on when low rpms, so back home scanned again codes and got only one “P2279 air intake leak” I asked Audi that I hear strange squeaking sound so they can check it together with strainer change after I visit them.

No idea what the YouTube video was meant to show, couldn't hear anything.
Could be an intercooler hose going on what you've described.

Sounds like the PCV valve has gone or is on its way out, Get it changed during recall.

It's a huge job, but luckily during engine strip for the recall the part is right there at the bottom of the v-section of your engine. Might cost you around £600 in parts & labour instead of £1500.

Thanks, will say to Audi that PCV valve can be a problem, hope they can see codes when scanned and also find issue, as they told me it’s 3 days work for strainer, hope they can fix also other problems
