All the warning lights!?!?!

Post by super7 » Sat Sep 03, 2022 2:11 pm

Just been having a drive round town and out of nowhere got loads of warnings all at the same time.

- Parking brake!
- Sport differential: system fault
- Start-stop system: system fault! Function unavailable
- Stabilisation control (ESC/ABS): fault! See owner's manual
- Parking brake auto release: not available

Switched the car off for 20 mins and left it and they’re still there. Any one had it before or got any ideas?

Could just be the codes need clearing off with a machine and wouldn’t reoccur.

Just seems odd all those bits going together…

Sounds like the usual symptoms of the battery failing.

Good luck

Thank you! Hopefully that’s it. So replace battery, clear the codes then should be sorted?

This happened to me a few years ago. It was a wiring loom near the front bumper that needed replacing. Not hugely expensive if memory serves.

I had the same issue and it was the ABS pump module and it’s a bit expensive .

Might be best seeing if you can see what’s logged via a reader

Had similar issues on an C7 A6 allroad and turned out to be an ABS sensor

It solved itself after a few days. Got a code reader and ended up not having to use it. Sorry haven’t been on the forum for a while!
