Anyone have experience of the new Conti 7 on RS6? Get great reviews but real life comments would help?

For tyres, continental sportcontact 7 are by far the best I've had. Only issues are they come in 265/40/21, 7mm tread new and wear down pretty quick. Stick to the road like glue though. That is on my S8 which pushes 675bhp and 1000Nm torque.

Just as shame I found the wear rate was pretty bad. Got 7500 miles from front and down to 4mm. The rears were down to 5mm. I find that once my tyres get down to 4-5mm, the tradeoff between safety and enjoying the car become too great, so end up changing them. Had a few scary moments in the wet once at that limit.
The Michelin ps4s had a better wear rate and I got over 12500 miles before reaching the same tread depths. Found the Goodyear f1 asymmetric 5 to be the best balance of wear and performance for my needs, so put them on last time round (265/35/21). If you want best performance and willing to change them more often, Continental are the way to go. If you want better life, then the other 2 are by no means a bad choice.

Deffo great grip on the continental sportcontact 7 and gave consistent times on my Racebox

Bro you should be happy about this mileage lol I've got 80% front wear and 50% rear on 3500km/2200miles.. don't know if the PS4 4S* (bmw oem) will be better considering the ~30% price difference.
TTS mk2. No track days, canyon cruising only. Average temps 20°C.

This was my main issue with the SportContact 6. Great tyre, but the wear rate was terrible compared to the PS4S. It's a real shame they haven't improved that.
