Anyone tried using the car on ceramic brakes from the C63 and AMG Gt ceramics brakes for the RS6 ?
The steel rotors are useless for such a heavy car and it’s not cheap either to replace .
Car is stage 2 with downpipes , and I just want the braking power .
2nd question , what do you guys recommend to cool the engine further .
Is there room for additional coolers
AMG CCB brakes
Re: AMG CCB brakes
I'm on the RS6 Ceramics and love them - a bit noisy at slow speeds which can alarm people in town etc - but fantastic stopping power on the road, and minimal wear after more than 120K miles!
Beware in the wet on motorways etc - brakes get very cool and wet, and take half a second or more to bite, which can be un-nerving when travelling at high speed!
Enjoy

There was a VCDS setting for ceramics on the B7 to wipe the discs when the rain sensors were activated to prevent this issue. Not sure how effective it was though.

Back to my original question , can we use the Mercedes AMG brakes or the ones from the R8 V10 ?
