It looks great - hope you enjoy it. Never had an AMG so look forward to an honest insight in a few weeks.

It took me a long while to decide what next and I subsequently went with this... it's been flawless, AFAF and I've been extremely happy with it

Now THAT is awesome! Any interior pics.
Alpinas are brilliant wagons-tend to have a higher BHP than advertised traditionally (to not overshadow the M cars)

I am really enjoy it and they are so rare too which I also like.

It has many attributes but noticeably, at high speed, it seems to get sucked in closer to the road, unlike my 6 which seemed to start lifting after around 150mph. Anyway, last pic is my trip back through Germany three weeks ago, on winter tyres hence a more appropriate speed : )

Alpina are awesome, I had a B8 Coupe, and absolutely loved it. Awesome cars, especially on the highways.
Thanks

They are a genuine alternative to M cars and in some ways more user friendly.
Prices are still very high but I’m so happy that Alpina for the B3 at least has avoided the new BMW design which is frankly hideous.
Plus you get the rarity value and of course there is that extra ‘class’ which excludes a certain ‘type’ of person who would flock to M cars.
