Real exhaust dilema

Post by drbru » Sun Apr 10, 2022 8:33 pm

So I have written confirmation from Audi extended warranty that I can run a cat back exhaust and still maintain the Audi warranty - happy days!

However....been doing a lot of searching on here and there really are some mixed opinions

I was original going to get a non res millet catback. Mainly because I had it on my B7 RS4 and loved it but im hearing quite a few negative things on here.

APR and Remus are in the mix as well but cant find too much info on the forum about this and have ruled out capristo and Akra due to cost....

So, lets open this up AGAIN....what do you all think. Im trying to avoid drone but quite happy for the car to be loud and abnoctious (cant even spell that word) with all the pops and bangs as well within reason

On my first C7 RS6 after many options I settled with the Milltek road plus option and was happy with that. With my new C7 performance I’m not sure always wanted an Akra just for the carbon tail pipes but ridiculous money now watch this space 😁😁😁😁

I have Milltek Road Plus with Cete valve control. I love this combo!

The Akra sounds incredible in. I don’t think iPhones and other clips do the justice.

What's the best sort of price people have managed on getting a new Akra exhaust fitted ?
Been quoted 2.5k fitted on a Miltek but know I'd wish I'd stumped for the Akra (i realise prices are wildly different)

IIRC they average between £4-4.5k.
