Milltek - Car sounds like a JOKE!

Guys, this is my RS6 with a Milltek non-res cat back systems installed, it sounds terrible, that high pitched chirping you can hear in the video is audible 80% of the time, and the overriding sound from the car in town and even on the motorway.
The fitting garage contacted Milltek with a video to have a listen and has sent me their email response - in which they say its normal on Audi S and RS cars - my advice - DONT BUY ONE.

Still sounds lovely, aside the chirping.
Do you still have the valves in the exhaust or is it open 100% of the time?
If I did put another system on I;d want to keep the valves and have control over it for quiet cold starts.

What an earth makes it chirp like that? Is it the Turbos you can hear spooling through the exhaust system now that there are less silencers? Would be interested to hear an explanation to the cause of the noise if anyone knows why it does that.

Sounds like a tractor to me
As above, did you buy the valved version? Maybe consider adding the resonated silencers to mute the chirping noise you don't like.

I have the Road Plus version and is definitely doesn’t sound like that

I have the non res.
Mine has a rattle on coasting and gentle revs. Valves are set open all the time.
Miltek also told me this was normal.
They are pretty poor quality if you ask me and I’m looking to change mine

I have the non res on my S8 and it sounds really good in my opinion. There is slight tractor sounds that gets emanated on idle and light acceleration but apart from that when in Comfort or Efficiency mode sounds slightly louder than stock whilst cruising and much better than stock on WOT. The valves do rattle sometimes but they are not too loud in my opinion. Try some WD-40 in the tail-pipes and leave overnight, see if it helps with the valves and if so buy a good supply of it!
When in Dynamic Sports mode, becomes wild and it may be a bit too much tbh to drive about in all the time unless you are really light footed. The valves are open in this mode, so they don't rattle.

It drives and sounds like it should in general, just have to ignore the stupid chirping.
This started when I had the centre section replaced under warranty (bracket sheared off the original section). I have now had the bracket welded back onto the original section and had it refitted. Hey presto .....the stupid noise is 90% gone. That's proof that the section was the issue....Yes I still get very mild chirping but its almost inaudible...and I've seen other RS6 owners complaining of the same.
Seems to me, it must be air flow issue in the exhaust, and worst still, there are differences from one system to another.....
I know I'll not buy another Milltek....its like rolling a dice.

That deffo does not sound right. Has it been fitted correctly? I have had 2 x c7 rs6s with millteks in the past and neither sounded like that. Speak to an audi tuning specialist for further advise such as mrc etc. Send them your videos for their opinion

My non res Milltek ‘chirps’. WD40 sorts it for a while.

Is your car stock only Miltek non resonated exhaust installed? As I understand when you install exhaust everything was ok? And it started only when you changed center section
