20 inch wheels

Post by Asian Panda » Wed Jun 23, 2021 7:39 pm

Hi all,

Can anyone confirm if the 2016 C7.5 with stock steel brakes can take 20" alloys?
Standard wheels were the 21s but would like to consider putting 20s on.

Cheers

Hey dude,

Im running them with no problems. I am running spacers. But im pretty sure even without them they fit. As they were still a standard fit item on 7.5’s

The standard fit wheels for the C7 RS6 were 20” and the OEM 20’s fit over the steel or ceramic brakes.

Cheers mate. Sorry for sounding dumb. Most who I've asked had no clue and I wasn't sure as mine came with the OEM 21s.
I assume there was no change in wheel size from C7 to C7.5?

No change in wheel size between C7 and C7.5.
My car is a 7.5 and came with 21’s but I also have a set of 20’s that I use for my winters and they were sourced from a C7.

They’ll definitely fit. In winter I use original skinny (245 wide) winter wheels and even they fit. C7.5

It will all come down to barrel and spike design. So test fitting a non OE set of wheels would defo be recommended
