Hey all,

I wonder if anyone can help? I have the phone box fitted in my car but it doesn’t have the wireless charging option. Is adding wireless as simple as buying the box/pad and replacing the one that’s already fitted?

I can't say for sure, but there is messaging between the phone and MMI unit that would suggest some level of coding may be required for operation, for example if I get in the car and my phone has less then 20% charge I get a warning on the car's MMI screen with a suggestion to place it on the charging mat, and then when you do put it on the mat another message is displayed to confirm that charging is taking place.
