exhaust question

hey
so a question for all you exhaust enthusiasts.
I have a 2016 perf edition, which has the sports exhaust.
i've had millteks before on a few things, but from my c5 days, the c5 plus edition had a sports exhaust which was pretty much the same as a milltek resonated exhaust, same in the c6 generation of rs6's.
does that still hold today? would the upgrade path be to a non-res on the perf edition?
cheers
t.

Hi,
Try this
https://youtu.be/Uq14iHH1tXQ personally I chosen Miltek none resonated exhaust, for me it was best for that money I could afford, as akra for me always was and going to be over priced and not worth such money.
P.s as for deep note Miltek has it, very rumble and good tone especially with stock Downpipes, as if you put catless dps then it’s too loud and not so bass

Hi all,
Craig - read your post with interest and a little confused.... Have you fitted an Akra or the APR? - just interested as it sounds perfect!?
(sorry to hijack your thread tmg)!
Cheers,
Lig.

Thanks for the clarification Craig...
So would you say that there is a big difference between standard fit Sports and the Akra?
Do you think you would have been dissapointed if you had bought a new one for 6.5K??
Is it any different at slower speeds or is it just 'fuller' when the valves open under throttle?
Cheers,
Lig.

Deleting the front and centre resonators is a nice mod for the price.
Beyong that it's down to personal taste on what sort of tone you like and how loud you want it. Milltek non res was perfect for me, love the tone. But I happily lived with the res delete for 3 years.

yeah I had an s6 (the v10 one) which was pretty good with a res delete, but was glorious with the non-res milltek.
the sports exhaust seems to be the business in M mode but unsure how much louder the non-res milly would be

The sports exhaust is nowhere near as loud as the Milltek non-res. Having said that I lived with my milly with the exhaust valves permanently disconnected so it can't be that loud.

Agreed with Mike, loving Miltek none resonated exhaust)

I have the Miltek Road+ with the valve controller (valves set to be permanently open nearly all the time).
I love it. It can be properly brutal but also quietens nicely on the motorways when the family is in the car. A great balance I think.
