Hi all
Know this has been covered before with links to other forums but has anybody on THIS forum fitted JHM strainer relocation kit. Seems common sense to me to place one of engines Achilles heels into a serviceable position??
Thoughts please.

I also ask about this. Read on many places about a potential problem with the strainer. And since mine is not new, I am curious whats it condition and whether I must change it or fit a relocation kit. Mine is MY2016 end, first reg 01/2017, 69000 km.

I have replaced the oil strainer and other associated O rings on an RS6 2015 model. mileage was 30k. they didnt want to spend the extra on the kit so never fitted it. But it is a big job with having to put the front panel into service position and then start removing numerous parts.
