Interesting, sometime ago I also noticed on a floor something like yellow wax, but didn’t take any care, showed to dealer this piece of item but they said nothing, it’s like paraffine wax or something

Ok so last thursday I gave my car to the Audi dealer for check for this leak... They presurized the system at 2 bars during 6h and found nothing and told me that all is OK as there isn't any coolant residues visible in the hoses or so...

Ofc, the next morning, I had a puddle in my garage, as well as every morning including this morning -_-

This time I "captured" the content of the puddle with a syringe and filled a tiny bottle with it. I'll give it to my dealer and maybe he will understand that I'm not crazy!!! It's a pink greasy liquid, it's coolant and nothing else -_-

Now I want they solve this problem, I paid about 80K for this car, it's not for having a leaky crap...

More it's cold, early come the leak... My garage is not heated and without door (it just covers the cars) so it's outside temperature +/-. This summer, of course I had nothing. Starting october, it was about +5°C outside the night, so it started to leak after about 48h without driving.

Now it's -5°C even -8°C outside during the night, so it starts to leak already after about 12h, so I've the puddle every morning...

For sure, it's something contracting with the cold temperatures (a gasket, a gap between two hoses or dunno), and then it leaks... But the dealer doesn't want to understand this...

Maybe they could keep the car overnight in their workshop and they'd see the leaks for themselves?

Ye but in the workshop the temperature will be high enough for it doesn't leak, even after 48h probably...

And if they keep it outside it will leak, but then they will drive the car inside for put it in the lift and they won't see where it came from :audibash:

I'm getting crazy with this leak

If they not stupid Audi technicians they can check beneath a car before moving it to garage

Ofc but good luck for look beneath a RS6 that is about 5cm up from the floor... Personally I'm very slim but I can't get there... Need to lift the car... It's not like if it was a SUV... And for lift the car need to move it inside.

So...I've this issue since now more than 2 months, and it's still not resolved.

No dealer seem to be able to fix it.

The problem is it seems not only related with the long time without driving, but also with low temperature…

3 weeks ago, my car was more than 60h without driving, but temperatures were between +10°C day and +5°C night --> no leak after 60h

Last weekend, my car was only 26h without driving, but temperatures were -2°C day and -8°C night --> I lost about 0,1l of coolant, I had placed a cup under the leaking point and it had coolant in.

When I give my car to the dealer, the remove the cache under the engine and don't see any trace of leakage…. Last time they kept the whole weekend the car in the lift, cache removed with white paper undernath for try to see the leak --> Nothing! Of course, Inside the garage it was maybe +15°C or even more, impossible to have the leak at a such high temperature, even after 1 month without driving I'm sure it wouldn't leak…

I'm starting to be desesperated because my car is not old (2016), low km, under warranty, it costed me an arm to buy, but have a leak that nobody can fix or even see… Only me see the leak in the morning when I take my car and have a pink puddle on the floor + a bad coolant smell coming from the AC :-(

Wow that’s really annoying, I understand you man, but seriously how Audi technicians can’t solve or find a problem
