Feels like it's cutting out???

So guys I've got an issue that's come about.

Basically when driving hard I've started noticing that as soon as I got around 5000-6200rpm the car starts juddering almost like it's hit a limiter.
The car did have a stage1 map but has since been removed and left with the stage1 but seems to be still happening. I just don't know if this is napping or mechanical issue.
The setup is milltek full exhaust system, stage1 map (now back to stage1) and NGK spark plugs.

Has anyone any idea what could be causing this??? I really don't want to be pumping anymore money into the car.

Have you scanned for any fault codes?

It's being done today as the car is going back to the guys that did the mapping.
To me it only seems to be making with the maps.

Could it be mechanical?

Yes best idea first scan codes, if none are on then could be pain in the ass

I have a feeling it's going to be the latter 😔 but I'm also hopeful it's not.

So, the issue is not to do with the mapping and there are zero fault codes???

Can anyone suggest what the problem possibly is?

HPFP possibly not holding higher pressures?

Do you know if that's a big/expensive fix or if it could be something else?
I'm aware that is really a guessing game at the moment.

Guys, you can’t give car to any mechanical who thinks he knows tuning and maping. Maping is very complicated thing, you have to change parametrs and test it and 100 times do that and then you can be sure everything is good.

In my country we have genuis guy in capital city. He told me- for maping first you have to clear all faults with car, then there is testing with map which can be several days, to be sure every parameter is not making problem to computer and engine.

So don’t give car to somebody you are not 100 % sure he is doctor for maping. There can be serious faults with engine if map is not ok.

Bud, the guy who did my mapping is a mapping specialist and not just anyone. I'd never as with anyone here take a car to someone who doesn't know what they're doing.

I appreciate the heads up and it's good to see people who care 👍🏼

I going out on a limb to say that this issue is fuel or O2 sensor related.
But will hopeful find out next Saturday 🤞🏼

God knows dude. It’s just the first thing that sprung to mind.

To me it makes plausible sense that if the HPFP’s are on their way out then as the demand becomes greater they can’t supply the fuel. Is there any excessive fuel smell to the oil?

I opened the oil cap and had a sniff. No petrol smell, however, before this problem came to light I went for a dyno day with the Audi club and car was smoking under load. I know some greyish smoke is expected but there was also smoke black smoke mixed.
