Hi, I got the low fuel warning light this evening saying 30 miles left, pulled off motorway 2 miles later, and stopped at the lights at the top of the off-ramp. Message came up: "stop-start disabled, start car manually". It took several attempts to start, and ran very rough. Drove maybe 300yds to petrol station- engine stopped just before the petrol pump. Filled up, and it took maybe 20 starts over 10 minutes until it would run, but only with additional throttle. Drove the 2 miles home- it was not happy. I looked at the fault codes, and it's only reporting misfires.
It'll start but not tickover, and is hunting.
There are no more fault codes.
I am positive I've run it to lower than 25 miles before.
Any ideas please? Thanks, Andy.
2014 RS6, 35k miles.
Fuel/starts ok/hunting & rough if stays running

Surprised at your low miles tbh. Which makes it even more worthwhile to change (or remove) if you are out of warranty.
Hope you get it sorted mate
