REALLY annoying glovebox rattle

I have a rattle from the glovebox which is literally driving me insane. Just come back from a trip to Scotland and nearly smashed the lid off in fury it's so irritating.

It seems to be coming from the left hand joint that holds the lid on to the dash. It seems loose and when driving any bump no matter how minor sets it off.

I have no need to take the car into a dealer and really can't be arsed to drop it in just to have this fixed under warranty.

Anyone had it and successfully fixed it? I'll happily take a bodge even right now. Duck taping to try and hold it tighter doesn't work as an example...
