New Owner

Post by Juniorp72 » Sun Jul 05, 2020 7:19 am

New to the forum and new to owning an RS6 Avant. I'm mega excited to be collecting it later this week to be used as a daily driver!

After doing a little research (and did plenty on here) I knew the spec I wanted and the year/mileage etc. I wanted 67 or 18 plate and colour preference Nardo Grey but didn't rule out other colours if the right spec was presented to me, however the right car turned up in Nardo on a 67. The only spec it doesn't have that was on my wish list is the Carbon interior but instead has the high gloss interior which I assume is the standard but please correct me if i'm wrong. The car is 'out the box' with the ownership history being welcoming owned by an olderly gentlemen since a few months old and only 500 miles, in the 2 years he owned it only covered a further 11000 miles. It was due a service when I looked at it but Covid has got in the way so it is late being done but it is being serviced by Audi as we speak. Once the current warranty is close to expiring I will be adding the Audi Warranty direct from their website. Once collected I plan on getting the 5 year ceramic coating done.

My performance car history is 458 Spider I owned for a couple of years and last week I sold my 488 GTB. My reasons behind this is that my circumstances have changed, I no longer have a company car and I wanted to own a performance car for everyday use. Given my history of car ownership the RS6 Avant gave me the same buzz as the Ferrari's. Simply WOW!! Infact i'd go as far as saying it even sounds better than the 488 GTB.

I will get some pictures up once it's back from the detailer.
