Aftermarket brake discs and pads

It’s nearly time for me to change the brake discs and pads. I’ve had a good search in the site and know that many folk have had issues fitting oem discs I.e. warping.
Question is what aftermarket discs and pads should you go for?
I’ve been having a look at the different options online Vagbremtechnic, Alcon, RC Racing Rotors etc. Does anyone have any experience with these aftermarket discs?

Hi Joe,
There was a member 'Uplandsway' who went for the Vagbre ones. I have a feeling he has sold his car now as he hasnt posted on here for a while, but might be worth dropping him a PM as he is a very helpful chap! Have a look at this thread here

Its a tough one, as for me I would like to keep the car original but yeah I have also read about the standard discs being naff and warping.... a tough call...

Don’t want to be spending 2k Plus on oem discs and pads for them to warp. I’m sure they would be fine but seeing all the other posts about them really is kinda off putting. Will have a browse of that post just now. Need to replace the rear brakes first so will probably just go for oem rears. But may have to get an aftermarket set up front

Or upgrade to 'ramics, and never worry again (apart from at the bank balance
