Evening , am going to SORN a car.

I naively thought SORN insurance would be relative pennies given its fire and theft but from a locked garage.. Not the case only about £100 less than full comp renewal if on the road.

Anyone know and super specialists who deal wiht SORN only - theft really not bothered about anything else

I checked this out recently with my insurers and found similar. Plus potential admin fees at each change.
Decided to just leave the insurance running when I SORN (probably this weekend) as I can just put it back on the road instantly by retaxing, and the tax is the bigger sum anyway.
I didn't find any specialists though didn't look very hard to be fair.....
