Steering wheel swap...

Hi guys,
Just a quick question regarding a possible steering wheel swap.
I previously had a 2016 SQ5 with a carbon steering wheel fitted. I took the wheel off when I got the RS6.
What I'd like to know is; would the wheel fit the RS? Airbags are the same size, only difference would be the direction button on the left. RS has left and right arrows, were the SQ5 didn't.
Any help be appreciated.

As you can see, the buttons on the wheels are slightly different but the airbag and paddles are the same.

You will need the menu button in order to access the menus in the cluster. Its a different part number from the rs6 to the q5 platform. You can remove the buttons and see if it fits to the sq5 wheel.
Also you need to check if your sq5 is a dual stage airbag or single as the rs is dual

My aftermarket SQ5 wheel is basically an empty wheel... No airbag or menu buttons. I would be swapping airbag, paddles and menu buttons from the RS wheel to the SQ5 wheel.
Do you think it would be a straight swap over?

The paddles, airbag should be fine, the buttons i think will work as long as they are ohysically the same

Cheers bro, might give it a try tomorrow.
Everything in terms of size look identical to the SQ5s bar the functionality of what they do. So it should all slot in nicely.
