Rust / Similar Black Window Trim?

Anyone else had an issue with the surround on the far rear window ?
Car is only just over 2yrs old.
Just noticed this....nothing noticeable in terms of paint being broken, just bubbling underneath. Its fine on then other side of the car.
Needless to say, it will be going in as a warranty job once the dealerships open again. Hope it's not a big job to replace the surround?

Mine has the same on the back windows, but I haven’t considered a warranty claim. Be interested to hear how you get on.
I also have a very small spot on the boot lid, by the audi rings but not sure I want the car painted, hence have left it.
Mine is a 2016 PE, which was a demo car with 300 miles on the clock when I bought it. I have not had any paint in my ownership, but it could of course have needed it before I took ownership.

Yep me too on driver side. Be interesting to know what they say. Mine hasn’t become any worse since I noticed it a while ago.

I'm curious to see what it is.....If it was rust, assumed it would have been able to pick it off, but I can't. Will wait and see what the stealer says...

The trims are aluminium so something has cause it to react. I had a similar bubble on the rear door sorted under warranty.
