Stage 2 Worth it?

I'm running 697bhp with MRC Stage 1 remap with standard Performance exhaust. Thinking of going to stage 2 but wondering whether there will be much noticeable difference, what do they do to upgrade to S2 & what power it will achieve?
I've looked at MRC Website but the RS6 C7 seems to me missing.
Sorry for the probably already well known questions but I'm new to the RS6 scene.
Thanks in advance guys

Stage 2 normally involves a performance (lower case p) exhaust. For maximum benefit this would include decat pipes or, to a lesser effect, sports cats.
This will give you circa 40 more PS. So the question is back to you, is the cost of a performance exhaust and remap worth 40ps to you? Sports cats are expensive and have lower gains, decat is cheaper with more gains but obviously an MOT failure so will need to be swapped out at MOT time.

40hp I don’t think it can be noticeable

It is on the MRC site see
http://www.mrctuning.com/index.php/remapping/ about halfway down the page.
I'm not sure what they do now at stage 1 as they only used to offer stage 2, which includes race plugs and upgraded fuel pumps. I'd also get the gearbox map at the same time which matches the gearbox changes etc to the uprated power.
And then enjoy!!
Dave
PS - only they are shut down at present due to the virus......

Best bang for buck is always Stage 1.
Anything further it always ends up spiralling out of control

Until recently MRC didn't offer Stage 1 for the C7 so I'm not sure what they left out of the old Stage 2 package to get the cost down by £200. It may well be that stage 1 is just the generic map, whereas for stage 2 they tweak it on the Dyno to actually suit you car.
And given that the cost difference is only £200, why do you say costs will spiral out of control??

As far as I'm aware for stage 2 they change downpipes & fuel pumps along with a remap so it ai t gonna be anywhere £200 difference anyway.

The approach by different mappers as to what they call stage 1 and 2 varies.
The info I have given you from MRC (look on the link below!) is correct. And no, they don't change the DP's as part of Stage 2. They do fit HPFP's, race plugs and a hi-flow air filter. Pretty sure they do these for stage 1 and stage 2, the difference is whether the map is generic, or specific to your car.
Of course you CAN change the DPs, and still have a stage 2 Map as stage 2 means they adjust the map to suit the hardware on your car - ie it's not a generic map.
Do MRC know what they are doing? Well yes, after all they have won Audi Gold Tuner of the year for the past 12 years or so!
