Mike I wasn't expecting an alfa, I was more expecting an m5 or something like that.
What the alfa like then, I know they get a good review but what is the build qua6like and what's it like day to day?
These things intrigue me!

I like the M5 especially now it has AWD but all BMWs, Mercs and Audis were being stolen locally so I had to get something that doesn't really get any attention from thieves. I did some research and I couldn't find a single story online of one being stolen in the UK. Loads got written off though so the insurance is higher than my RS6.
When you step out of an RS6 and into the Alfa you do get the initial feeling of this isn't as luxurious but to be fair I got the same feeling when getting into an RS3 or RS4. The 6 is defo a step up even within Audis own range. So when you consider the Alfa is a rival for RS4 rather than the RS6 then there difference isn't that great. Now I don't even notice any thing even wrong with it.
The Alfa doesn't have the torque of the 6 and its very noticable at low revs when you floor itn there isn't that instant push into the back of the seat. My 6 dynodaat 888nm (standard) and the book figure for the Alfa is 600nm and its very noticable. But once you are moving and in that higher rev range it really shifts. Unfortunately, when in Race mode all driver aids are turned hence why so many get written off. I miss the V8 noise and big boot even though I never wanted an estate and have always been a saloon kinda guy. I hate to admit it, but that boot was really handy.
Oh and it comes with a 5 year warranty, 5 year breakdown recovery and the first 3 services are free. Never got that with my Audis.
