Hi all,
Can anyone advise how I can get my music to just reduce in volume rather than mute? When In reverse and no sound I can go into settings and adjust it but the next time I reverse it mutes again.
My Wife's A5 doesn't do this.

Think I've sorted it.
I was changing the volume in settings when the reverse camera was on.

I went into Car Settings and changed it in there. Fingers crossed.

Still does it

Hello mate - mine changes with the “Entertainment volume” setting in the parking aid settings. This is accessed via the settings button when in reverse or via Car -> Driver Assist -> Parking aid. Hope this helps.

Yeah I've adjusted it both ways but it still mutes when reversing. It's like it's just not saving my setting.

Mine remembered the reversing music volume but wouldn't remember the RDS traffic reports volume and would constantly make me jump and blow the speakers up when a report came on when i had the music on loud.

Slightly off topic but does any else notice that when getting back in the car, after a 30-60min break, it is as if the music stored on the SD card has kept going and there is a different track playing on start up to when the car was switched off... have experienced this many times - very odd...

All good here thanks fella - enjoying RS6 ownership, looking on here it seems I got mine about a week after you got yours

Might be worth a full re-boot of the MMI - (https://youtu.be/y-rzJ4o6JQM to see if it then allows you to save the settings.

Haha, We looked at that house back in 2000 and my son said to me yesterday he saw a black C7 outside.

I'll pop in and say hello when I next go past.

How about trying the "audio ducking" feature? It keeps the music low when you reverse. Worked wonders for me!
