Hit a pothole yesterday on the motorway.
Amazingly it’s still holding 39psi.

I gave it a good visual check when it was up in the air last night as I was changing the wheels over and there was nothing visually out of place.Tadass910 wrote: ↑Fri Oct 04, 2019 1:55 pmIf I were you I would brought car to a dealer for full inspection of all other cars components as they can be also deformed, I remember when i hit a hidden pot hole on a road (it was covered with water so I couldn’t see) with my 335i after i got damaged both rims passengers side front and rear right, also there were some damages under a car for other components
Saldy I don't fancy hanging out in the outside lane of the M4 to get a picture.
I pretty sure they use a 3rd party so you might get contact from a company like Aviva etc they are the ones who will try their best not to pay outChristiaan wrote: ↑Fri Oct 04, 2019 3:20 pmSaldy I don't fancy hanging out in the outside lane of the M4 to get a picture.
I have however been in touch with Highways England and given them a description of the location, along with pictures of the damage.
They wanted to know the time I was there, reg etc, so I'm sure they will be looking at cameras to check that I was actually there.
Will have to see whaty they say, but if you dont ask, you dont get.
Wasn’t by junction 6 was it? Outside lane by a bridge? I hit the exact same one on Thursday afternoon. Straight on the phone to highways England to firstly let them know but also get a reference should there be any damageChristiaan wrote: ↑Fri Oct 04, 2019 3:20 pmSaldy I don't fancy hanging out in the outside lane of the M4 to get a picture.

Also the car was driving fine... not even any noticeable vibration on the steering, which surprised me.
I did pop in to my Audi dealer on the way home at 5:30 and they were completley disinterested.... "everyone has gone home Sir".... even though I counted 5 techs in the workshop area.
I managed eventually to get them to take some photos of the wheel to pass on to the techs/bodyshop so they could contact me today.... Heard nothing! Well done Audi
Spoke with Highways England and told them what happened and where. Also I have a refernece number from them and have forwarded photos of my wheel.DaytonaMatt wrote: ↑Sun Oct 06, 2019 7:25 pmDefinitely call highways England and get the reference number and send them the bill... that’s the 2nd I’ve seen the exact same one in 4 months
