Rear brake pads

Post by tlicense » Tue Sep 10, 2019 12:51 pm

There was a recent post with a YouTube link on how to change the front brake pads, but does anyone know if there's any information about how to change the rears?

I guess the most important thing is what do you need in order to push / drive back the pistons?

Any information anyone has would be greatly appreciated.

Regards,

Have you searched for an A6 / A7 / S6 / S7 guide as it will be the same or very close. The thing to remember is that the rear have the electric handbrake caliper and I seem to recall it is best to use a laptop to release the caliper but think I read of some Americans doing it successfully without a computer and gently forcing them back as nornal.

You can do it without a pc easy enough you just have to remove the motor for the hand break and wind it in manually,
