Starting to prep the car to sell her in the next month or so...
She needs new tyres and a service
Tyres first - no experience of PS4s'S, only Super Sports which are on currently - price point is around the same £273 fitted (Costco) with £100 back until Sep 22nd
Is there any real difference in them?

Oh yes indeed.
You need to read up on the details, but the PS4S is pretty superior all round on the road due to dual-compound construction, especially damp/wet cornering.
Currently only available in a restricted range of sizes - initially I think it was only a selection of 19" and 20" profiles - check your size.
Had mine on for 2 summers now and they're superb.

I did have Super Sports on before, in fact the spare IS a (part-worn) MPSS. That was an expense too far!
I must have got my 20" MPS4S's very early after release, I ordered them in February 2017 and fitted them as soon as spring arrived.
They were about £155 each back then (exc. fitting), 255/35/R20, from Pneus-Online though I got a decent loyalty discount to reduce that.

PS4S considerably better all round than MPSS IMHO.
If you're on 21" and can't find 285 then put on 295 and a 5mm spacer - fills out the arch beautifully, and even better rim protection.
Enjoy the grip! Oh and make sure you have the tracking checked - very sensitive to poor alignment (on any tyres)

4S for reasons above, plus softer sidewall and better ride.

Thanks Guys for the responses - PS4S is will be, though it's going to be more for the new owner, assuming it finds one

as I want the car 100% before it goes to a new home...
