Do you have a garage?

Post by gikseiman » Fri Aug 23, 2019 7:14 pm

Contemplating on buying an RS6 but missus goes ..yes.."only to leave in the rain and sun most of the week..."

How many owners have a garage and use it for the RS6?

I used my garage after finding someone snooping around on my property.

Mines kept outside, no garage at the house, and wanted to own such a car. Tadass, the cars not going to melt in the open air!

Drawing too much attention? I guess it's hard with such a car?

I have garage but wouldn't fit..now thinking should I just dump the idea of owning one. Maybe I'll win the euro lottery tonight and get a house with a garage first...lol

I would go for it :) They'll be fine outside bodywork wise, no different than leaving an A6 outside. They do seem to draw the wrong kind of attention though. I leave mine outside as I'm in the middle of no where..

No garage for me - and only downsides, pollen leaves a lovely layer on it once washed and the seagulls seem to love sh1tting on it, especially when it's just had a bath. Never (touch wood) had an issue with security with it, or my previous 6. Wouldn't not buy a car just because no garage - in any event these cars aren't supposed to be "garage queens"

Yes I have a garage! It was just big enough for the C5 beast, but had to have a wee extension because the C7 is a bit longer!

Much amusement for the neighbours when I first did it! :beerchug:

Awesome..I was looking at various ways of making my current vehicle fit in the garage and then ended up just moving the boiler and water tank into it. Now I'm thinking...maybe I need to move it again lol

Yeah..birds tend to love crapping all over cars, especially after they've had a nice clean and polish.. !!

I'm thinking the same..and still on the fence. Would love to have a garage and use it in the same condition I left it in, rather than leave it outside and when I come to use, find the largest pile of bird poo on it!
