C7 FL buying advice

Hey all,

Saw a RS6 on the road which turned my head and instantly jaw dropped and thought wow wow wow!

I've been doing some research and seen a couple of threads on buying advice which some are a few years old now.

Looking to pick up a C7 FL model. Can any owners provide any buying advice, such as what packs are a must, what packs you thought you needed vs. what wasn't really necessary. I know some are personal preference, but some guidance/views would be great!

Also, any things to watch out for when looking for a vehicle / test driving one or owning one please?

So far, I've found the following: -

- Coolant hosing rubbing
- 21" alloys cracking
- Brakes warping
- Wind noise (if pre 2015)

Also, saw a few threads from some owners who were super ecstatic and excited about getting one, but after some time owning, lost the excitement as it was just too "easy" to drive and not as "fun". Anyone else feeling of felt this?

Also, with the new C8 model being announced, do you think it is worth waiting a little as prices may come down?
