Another question on tyres

Post by CyanideX » Thu May 30, 2019 9:00 pm

I picked in the RS and want to replace my P-Zero's little low and crap from experience. However it's running 285/30/21 and thought that the tyres had to be 275/30/21...

Also when I'm searching for tyres at that size the only decent ones are Super Sports.

Just want to check that this is okay first of all, sorry for the stupid post. I had Super Sports on my M3 and loved them. Not sure what you guys think? What tyre suits the RS more?

EDIT - I Understand that the PS4 replaced the super sports to add to the confusion...

275/30/21 is not a factory size tyre. The only factory sizes are (excluding skinny winter wheels):
285/30/21
275/35/20

The best tyre in 285/30/21 is (in most people's opinion) was the Pilot Super Sports.
However, Michelin have recently introduced the PS4S in the same size so a no brainer really.

Don0301 - please can you post a couple of links? The Michelin site still says "not available" - https://www.michelin.co.uk/auto/tyres/pilot-sport-4-s

Just to add, I recently purchased 4 x PS4's from Tyreleader at a really good price & they only took 3 working days to arrive from the centre of Germany

Anyone know a good tyre fitter for the Solihull or Banbury areas? Even better if it's a quality Mobile Fitter?

Cheers,

Steve

Ive used Plume tyres Solihull quite a few times. I always trawl the market and they are more often than not pretty competetive.
