Spacers on std suspension

Post by Christurbo » Sun Mar 24, 2019 10:22 am

Hi guys,

Picking up an RS6 PE next week in nice spec. Coming from a B8 RS4 and a FL RS3. The RS3 was lowered on MSS Kit track pack and 8mm spacers. The RS4 was std due to rumours of DRC failure, which was a wise decision as mine fIne failed and was replaced under warranty.

Has anyone fitted spacers to a standard rid height DRC’d RS6 if so what size and do you have photos?

Thanks

Chris

I only fitted spacers once the car was lowered.

I'm interested in this too. I currently have spacers (10mm front & 15mm rear) on my PE (standard height with DRC) but that's with the 20" wheels I have been running with winter tyres. Soon to swap back to the 21" performance wheels and was wondering whether to leave the spacers on.
Currently running:
18 plate Lamborghini Huracan Performante (5.2l of V10 naturally aspirated craziness)
67 plate RS6 Performance (fully loaded)
66 plate Range Rover Autobiography (for wafting around)
16 plate Mini Cooper S convertible (lots of fun but rather skittish when thrashed)

Favourite car ever owned:
1971 Citroen DS21 - The Goddess (pure art on wheels)

I ran 15mm rear with the car lowered 40mm with no problems so the rear can easily take that at standard height.
