To be honest, a lot of the adverts that advertise mega specs end up not being that.

You're dead right there Lewy. I find it funny how so many dealer advertise cars as mega spec / huge spec / massive spec / best spec available etc, when usually none of that is true. Reminds me of old estate agent speak, before they were forced to clean up their act.

Good thing is you clearly know the car and what a great spec actually looks like, so you won't be duped by this advertising.
Currently running:
18 plate Lamborghini Huracan Performante (5.2l of V10 naturally aspirated craziness)
67 plate RS6 Performance (fully loaded)
66 plate Range Rover Autobiography (for wafting around)
16 plate Mini Cooper S convertible (lots of fun but rather skittish when thrashed)

Favourite car ever owned:
1971 Citroen DS21 - The Goddess (pure art on wheels)

Thanks Zappy. Anth also helped by pointing out the lack of front camera which I now check out on all adverts...

We are quite geeky really! ;)

Here's a fun one.

https://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified ... on=at_cars

Apparently this car has:

* Matt Aluminium Styling Package - nope.
* Parking Pack and Parking Pack Advanced - really!
* Ceramic brakes - nope.
* Carbon Styling Package - errr, nope.
* Dynamic Package Plus - in your dreams.
* 3 different Audi Warranties (2yrs, 4yrs, 5yrs) - make your mind up.
* B&O Advanced Sound - ha ha.
* Assistance pack - nope.
* Towbar - nope.
* Matt Paint - hmmm.
* HUD - nope.
* 21" and 20" wheels - clever!
etc....

Muppets.

I fully understand. My main must have was rear view camera,dynamic and the assistance pack. The camera is easy to find but so few have the assistance.
My only compromise on mine was lack of pan roof and the fact it was a 16 plate when I was ideally after a 17/67. Other than that it was for me, perfect. Phone box, rear camera, assistance, dynamic, red calipers, advance key plus a 2 year approved used warranty to compensate for the 16 plate :). I travelled from Cambs to Huddersfield for it.

I found when looking most dealers definition of mega spec was just the standard equipment on the car rather than any actual options :(

My car will be advertised for sale shortly if anyone is interested, it has actually been with the dealer for 2 weeks already but he hasn't advertised it yet. No pan roof but has advanced parking pack (i.e. 360 degree cameras), assistance package, dynamic package, phone box, NO advanced key, 1 year extended Audi warranty blah blah blah. And no red calipers.

Your car does look very nice Mike... I can understand why no red calipers... it is a black beast after all!

Good luck with the sale.
