Hi All,

Looking at getting back into an RS6 and have a few in the frame.

Any feedback from dealings with James Bentley Motors and the car in question?

Mine is a 66 2017 model and was bought with same mileage.
I paid £68k from Audi last June if it helps.
Mine doesn’t have lane assist though but rest is the same

Thanks MM, a good measuring stick to go by.

Your car looks great with the roof box too!

Looks like a cracker to me. I'd buy that. Colour is very nice. Spec is good too (I'd want to see ceramic brakes, B&O and a HUD to properly qualify as "Monster Spec" though :bigblink:).

I'd try and squeeze a couple of grand off the price and then you have a very well priced car. Saying that, the stated price looks similar to other dealer cars out there of comparable age/mileage/spec.

I did see this odd advert on Autotrader (with only 1 photo - parked at a petrol station - who does that?!). Looks remarkably similar. Wonder if this is the current owner having a half-arsed attempt to get a bit more before turning it in to the dealer.

Currently running:
18 plate Lamborghini Huracan Performante (5.2l of V10 naturally aspirated craziness)
67 plate RS6 Performance (fully loaded)
66 plate Range Rover Autobiography (for wafting around)
16 plate Mini Cooper S convertible (lots of fun but rather skittish when thrashed)

Favourite car ever owned:
1971 Citroen DS21 - The Goddess (pure art on wheels)

Lovely car !

It's far from "monster spec" no surround cameras, B&O, ceramics, sports exshaust? and carbon pack? That' again isn't true the internal carbon isn't a carbon pack with no external . Kind of a over sell here it's a nice spec

sports exshaust?
It's a PE so sports exhaust is standard. :boots:

Considered this car before buying mine though didn't see it in the flesh. May sound silly but a Google of their address put me off.
Does it have to be blue? Ash motors and Daniel myers both have a stunning example each for sale.

Tony, Zappy

I also googled their premises and was a little put off too however the reviews are extremely positive and verified.

The car does have the surround cameras, it’s just showing the wrong graphic on the pictures and having specced the carbon pack on my 15 plate car I can see that this car has the black pack.

No bothered about ceramics to be honest.

Noticed the other advert on autotrader too... thanks for the heads up.

I will checkout the other cars however not had the best dealings with Daniel Myers due to his excessive pricing and unwilling to even negotiate.

** Ash Motors - nardo is a no for me
Daniel Myers car, Luna silver and the grey performance wheels makes it another no.

Did you view it in the end? Forgot how lovely that car looked, though I'm more than happy with my panther black :)
If so how did you find dealing with them? As I mentioned the only thing that put me off was the location being in the back streets of Birmingham, in itself not a valid reason but I am nervous when it comes to spending this sort of money.

Hi Tony,

I’m based in Surrey so any viewing would be next week when I head up north for the weekend.

To be honest, a lot of the adverts that advertise mega specs end up not being that.

When I bought my 2015 FL car, I specced, carbon pack, dynamic, pan roof, top down camera, Audi phone box, sports exhaust, red break calipers and no advanced key. While I thought that was a reasonable spec it’s quite hard to find another with similar spec.

The location of the car doesn’t help to be honest however the reviews that Sam who runs James Bentley are very positive.

I’ve decided not to pursue this car further.

Great colour mind you... just not the right spec for me, the top down camera being a must have.

Cheers
Lewy
