Hey all,

After much deliberating and queries on this forum I have finally found the right car and placed a deposit.

I’ve gone for an approved used 2016 performance in Panther Black with 12k on the clock (can’t wait to see the colour in the sun), Dynamic pack, advanced key, phone box, park pack, assistance pack and red calipers. In an ideal world I’d have had a pan roof as well but finding one with that and the assistance and park was hard. Also got a 2 year approved used warranty – this was a deal breaker as otherwise I’d have gone for the white 67 plate at Redline.

Picking her up on Sunday from Huddersfield Audi and I can’t wait.

Any hints, tips or littles extras that aren’t obvious would be great to know

I also need to look up some roof bars for a couple of bike mounts – any recommendations here?

Someone’s put the rs6 front badge in the wrong place ?

Thanks. Badge is a new one as old one nicked and been put back in the wrong place. Dealer sorting it out now

Get it in writing from Audi it hasn’t been mapped!

The check point thing they do isn’t worth the paper it’s written on.

You sound like a man speaking from experience?
I've had it confirmed no accident damage or previous maps.

Not really

But Audi CAN detect maps....they have been known to sell cars that were previously mapped....clear map...them have the cheek to refuse warranty work because of a TD1 flag!

Excellent choice Tony. Looks a stunner. Glad you got what you were looking for. Black RS6s are the best (mine is black too )
