I’m also running the Milltek valve delete modules with the standard sports exhaust with centre res delete, still getting false starts

I was advised by Audi to change the spark plugs as they were well overdue but I’m still getting the same issue after the plugs have been changed.
If it was anything to do with the exhaust valves being disconnected I would imagine a lot more owners would be experiencing the same issue.

Yeah I was thinking that - out of interest have they looked at your fuel pump at all?

Also on a false start do you just put your foot on accelerator and it fires ?

No, Audi just advised me to have the spark plugs changed as they were so far overdue. I’ll be taking it back in when I have the time.

Yes, give it a bit of throttle input and it fires straight up. Can be a bit lumpy for 1 or 2 seconds but then it’s fine. Only had it happen once in the past 2 weeks, doesn’t seem to be getting any worse.

Yeah exactly the same - sometimes can go 3 weeks+ no issues.

It does seem to be worse when I have done a short ish drive leave the car for 4 hours then start it up.

Would be interesting to see if anyone had had this issues with the stock exhaust

Do you have an after market exhaust on it?

No, all standard. Seems to happen when car has been run upto temp then left for maybe an hour. Car starts up like normal with the throttle blip then just dies. Takes a few restarts to get it going again then it's fine.

Yes exactly the same as mine - strangely I thought it was down to the miktec exhaust I had. Is yours under warranty?

Does it make any sense if exhaust aftermarket or not?

A while back one of the users stated it was due to the aftermarket exhaust, I never asked why.

I’ve had this same issue since buying the car back in 2018.

I’m running milltek valve delete modules and resonator delete on the standard sports exhaust so can’t be anything aftermarket exhaust related

Every time it happens to me the car has always been sitting for a few hours after a decent drive, when it does fire back up it will run slightly lumpy for a few seconds then it’s fine.
