Bronze wheels

Post by LeeRS6 » Thu Feb 07, 2019 4:47 pm

I am thinking about changing my wheel colour, wheels currently satin graphite but fancy either satin bronze or smoked chrome effect, looking for opinions as I’m unsure.

It will certainly stand out with bronze wheels. Is your car Daytona or Black (hard to tell from the lighting of the pic). The last 2 pics with bronze wheels on grey cars look good.

I recently changed the wheel colour of my winters and folks were suggesting bronze to me. I liked the idea of it but bottled it in the end and went grey (on a black car).
Currently running:
18 plate Lamborghini Huracan Performante (5.2l of V10 naturally aspirated craziness)
67 plate RS6 Performance (fully loaded)
66 plate Range Rover Autobiography (for wafting around)
16 plate Mini Cooper S convertible (lots of fun but rather skittish when thrashed)

Favourite car ever owned:
1971 Citroen DS21 - The Goddess (pure art on wheels)

Would look awesome
BMW 540i
2018 GTR
F90 M5
X3MC
RS3 Saloon
RS7 FL best car I've owned. No faith in turbo oil screen (turbos failing) or sticking oil scraper ring causing missfires.
F10 M5 LCI still no rear grip lol
S7 black Edition Too big and heavy
S3 8V FL DSG 310ps, road noise is a joke
RS3 8P Rubbish
C7 RS6 Fantastic car but missed playing
GTR R35 800bhp, too extreme, crazy fast though
911 Turbo Remapped. Hated it
F10 M5, awesome but no rear grip
RS6 V10 700BHP crazy
Porsche Cayenne Turbo S 600bhp

Sorry, not a fan of the bronze wheels! Bit too much Max Power for me!

Thanks for your feedback, mixed as I expected, any photos you have of any colours would be handy.

Its Daytona, I do get the comments saying its a bit Max Power but I think bronze is a bit more subtle, my wife already thinks I'm having a mid-life crisis, bronze wheels should finish it off :jump:

My cars Daytona Grey. I was undecided for a long time on whether to go for Vossen Matt Graphite, which is a very similar colour to the car without trying to match it, or Satin Bronze. I went for Matt Graphite in the end and I have to say I love it. Makes the car look so much more purposeful, especially with the spacers. However, I still think bronze would look amazing too... Go for it is my vote :)
