What you guys using for logging??

I use HEX+CAN VCDS but its sample rate is poor even measuring just one block

I guess not many folks on here want to see what their engine is doing. I suppose not much of a consideration unless mapped.

Depends what you want to see and whether you just want to see it as you drive or actually make a log.
I've used Bluetooth obd dongles with an app on a tablet before. Had good responses but limited as to what you could actually measure. And I don't think it actually logged the info.

Yes I want a log saved.

VCDS used to be very good but seems slow with the newer ecus.

Boost, timing, knock, afr, Revs. If I log them all at once the sample rate is very very poor. Might try OBDeleven and see if it’s any better

Logging more than 1 group will reduce the sample rate, have you tried Turbo mode?

Yes I use turbo mode. I have changed some settings I found in VCDS forum. Will try that and see.

Using Ecutek on the GTR I could log 7 or 8 outputs and still return 2 or 3 samples per 100 revs

With VCDS I am lucky if I see 1 per 500rpm. Very poor. I don’t think VCDS is keeping up with ecu evolution

OBD11 kinda can keep up with multi (7-10) parameters...but if you try to graph log (and save them) that indeed goes bad soon.
Your best luck might be live logging non graph and try to record it with other device or screen recording if there is an app able to do that.
If not mistaken, our ECU can only display 8 parameters....at least that is what my FIS mmi gauge module max can (be working with creator to run multi cfg files for more parameters).
