Just as an FYI really
If anyone looking for tyres, just ordered 4 SPSS 285/30/21's. £1098 Fitted from Costco.
Audi wanted £1560 fitted for the same tyres!!!!
They wouldn't price match either - as would have been easier as it's in for a service on Thursday...

Did you not look at the PS4s? Good jump forward in performance and same price (well they were, might have changed) I ran both on my M5 and the 4s was fantastic.

Tyres on the drive.com are within a quid of Costco. Plus you don't have to go and look at tut you don't need, as they come to you.

After running Pilot Super Sports year round on the C5, no way in hell would I have put those back on again by choice in winter months. Pilot Sport 4S as mentioned on here is what I will be swapping to for a summer tyre methinks.

Was put off by these as a mate of mine had them to replace the tyres on his X5 - long story......ended up taking 10days with the X5 in the stealers, costing £900 at BMW to have the wheel nuts drilled off
Tyres on the drive in fairness did pick up the bill...

I did wonder if you meant Mich PSS rather than SPSS.
Have to agree with you that they will be far better that PZero. But also have to agree with Footers that the PS4S is another step up in performance.
I ran both on my C5 beast and would never go back to the PSS. I now have the PS4S on my C7 Beast and they are fantastic compared with the Dunlops I had on there.
OK - they are only available in 295/30/21, so I added a 5mm spacer to be sure on the inner clearance, but I'm told they are fine without. The extra width plus the spacer mean they fill the arches even better too!
Anyway, when you have worn out the PSS then give yourself the pleasure of the upgrade next time round.
PS - the PS4S were £1190 fully fitted

I had a pair of the 285 30 21 Michelins on order from costco since last Friday, and today told they wouldnt be instock for another 10 days (so guess elsewhere will be similar unless instock too). They did say that from the 7th there is a money back offer on them but couldn't say how much. Anyways as i'm desperate I've gone to formula 1 auto center in Leicester for the Dunlops (which are currently fitted) for £240 a corner and arrive tomorrow.

Used them first time on Sunday to fit my milltek. Squeezed me in with no notice / booking and did it well cheap.

After Costco letting me down, F1 autocentre can only get 1 with the other coming after Christmas - Grrr. As contingency plan (if I ever get a pucnture) Ive decided to order a couple from Camskill £221 just to keep in the garage to save future faffing. Id be utterly buggered if i didnt have another car.

Hi Mike - what made you decide to move from your modified standard system (deleted resonators IIRC) to the Milltek?? And are you pleased with the change??
