Used them first time on Sunday to fit my milltek.
Hi Mike - what made you decide to move from your modified standard system (deleted resonators IIRC) to the Milltek?? And are you pleased with the change??

Dave
I had my resonators deleted nearly 3 years ago when I first bought the car. Very happy with them for that time but 3 years is a long time. I heard a friends milltek and though that might make a nice change if the price was right. I looked on ebay and most of the bits required to make up a non res cat back were available at reasonable cost so bought it all.
I'm not saying it is better but I'm loving the change in tone. It is a little louder at certain points. It makes the cylinder on demand change more noticable. Maybe a slight hint of drone but only noticeable as I turned the stereo down as I had a really annoying rattle sound (like when you used to put a playing card on bicycle wheels) I was convinced it was something touching the wheel or prop but noticed it only happened when not accelerating so figured it was probably exhaust related. A squirt of WD40 in the tailpipes sorted it out though. I still get a little knock over slow bumps so it needs to be adjusted slightly. But very pleased overall.

Miltek none resonated exhaust is the best choice for Rs6, congrats Mike on right move)

Costco..... good prices.... sit for 2 hours wait.
This. One of our MK gang just a a complete nightmare with them. Michelin prices are brilliant, but they aren't local to me, I cannot be waiting around for three hours etc! Anyone one here persuaded them to do supply-only? I'm after 18" PS4. I don't think the website gives you the choice - its supply-and-fit (or nothing) I believe? I'm currently rolling on winter wheels, and just had my summer alloys refurbed..... ideally I want supply-only so I can use my local garage who look after my alloys!!

Just checking our that other link now, tyresonthedrive......

When they have their offers on for £100 back when you order 4 tyres, they have offered (Cardiff) supply only a number of times.

Brilliant, thanks! I will keep an eye out. I notice their website always quotes a price, plus the additional fee (£7?) per tyre fitting

Hi,
Does anyone have a photo of the PS4S 295/30/21 fitted on the wheel? How does the side wall sit? Currently got P Zeros fitted. There dead now so need to change. I did like the look of the P Zero, but the feed back they are getting on here sounds like there not worth putting back on!

Also has anyone got on reviews on the below? There quite a bit cheaper!

285 30 ZR 21 100Y Yokohama Advan Sport V103

Thanks for any feedback!

From my recent post

The fit is fine, and with 5mm spacers they nicely fill the arches :boots:

Thanks for the photo Daveperc. They look good! I only just fitted 15/10mm spacers on the back and front. I think my spacers will be too much with that tyre 🤔

From that photo you could easily get another 5mm and probably even 10mm.

I think you'd be OK with 10mm spacers on the rear, but the front is much tighter. I get slight rubbing on the screw at the top of the wheel arch when the suspension is fully compressed (sharp dip or sometimes off a speedbump) and I suspect this would be hitting the arches with much more spacer.

Try it and see is probably the best answer! You'll love the PS4S anyway!

Dave

PS - mine will look better with mudflaps!!

Noooooooo, don't want to go back to tyres scrubbing. They were the days when I was a kid in me RS Turbo! lol
PS I will post some pics and introduce myself soon, just waiting till I get chance to take some pretty pictures!

May be once you get your p*ss flaps fitted we could start a thread on what not to do to your 6 :bigblink:
