Firstly hello to everyone, was driving home and boom check engine, scanned got p2196, O2 sensor signal biased/stuck rich bank 1 sensor 1. Went to Audi, they cleared codes, came home no faults no engine lights, quoted 358 pounds including all labor, is it necessary to change that sensor as Audi said check engine can come back again, my thoughts only not to damage my car, if that code came it can jump up again, maybe better to change and not to have any problems in a future.

I have the same.
Bank 1 sensor 1
Bank 1 sensor 2.

But sensor 1 could be triggering sensor 2...

Going to Audi next week..

Drives normal and can see.
Running stage 1 with Ghost immobiliser.

Been with a same issue, changed sensor after that maybe half year code same again, cleared it with carista, and code always comes once or twice in a year, but clearing helps, could be issues with petrol, Audi said it’s not a problem)
In my opinion if it would really bad code would be possible to clear and it would always appear after you turn on engine, but I have been living with this 2 years already

P.s stock car only Miltek exhaust non resonated, 130.000 km mileage 2014 04 year car)

Surly you cant just keep clearing the codes and removing the engine/emissions light??

So if it’s cleared and not come back after 1000km driving is it an issue? I was at Audi they changed sensor and I am getting same code on a same sensor that was changed for 400 eur as previously said by Audi it’s not a issue could be related with petrol or so, because I always get it after I put new petrol to my car

Drives perfectly.
Audi said it was a false positive reading.
Checked all cats all good.
Maybe something to do with the stage 1..
Technician said it wasn't an issue...
I bought a Ancel VD500 and clear it myself.

As I said above, I am also clearing it once or twice a year) my car total stock only Miltek none resonated exhaust

Mine has come on again..
Every 400miles or so...

Also do you get 4 cylinder mode?

My mpg bar only goes green right at the end with no 4 cylinder mode

I didn’t tried that, I always delete that code if it pops out, need try those 4 cylinders mode
