Re: Not my week.
That sucks mate. Did you catch the offender or did they drive off?
Not too long ago someone did this to the front of my 911 Turbo S and just drove off - parked at Heathrow T5. Ripped the number plate off and wrecked the paint. Looks superficial (bumper / tyre rubber) but it broke the paint and I needed a full front bumper respray.
I am getting a dash cam fitted to my RS6 next week to be able to capture this sort of thing on film (hopefully at least).

I was driving into my drive when this numpty reversed across my drive into me. So yes he has fully admitted plus got witness, so off to audi tomorrow for the quote.
Re: Not my week.
I hate taking the RS out for general activity say supermarkets as people just don't give a S£@t about opening doors on to your car OR worse, not to mention space size is a complete joke these days, everyone has some form of SUV spaces are the same size as in 1970 when we drove toy cars . I can't make this up when I first got the new C7 (full honeymoon period)I came back and found some demented woman with her bloke just stood next to her raking though her bag ON TOP of the RS bonnett, I won't go in to details what was said but it was not in any way civil !
There should be a special place in hell for someone crashing in to a car and driving off.

Was particularly proud of this one - to the extent I took this photo. I'm sure Bam posted a similar pic to this years ago! Around 10am, totally rammed car park, cars parked on pavement on road into car park, after driving around this was the only space left I could find apart from disabled spaces at the entrance. Civic abandoned front in diagonally across two spaces. Parked my right rear wheel arch approx 2 inches from their front right wheel arch, folded my mirror in. Having made me get out the passenger side, I knew they would have to get in from the passenger side, because I knew I was going to be one of the last leaving that car park
Bit more precious about my B7, but if I was presented with the same Civic and the last 'space' in a car park again, I'd do exactly the same again.

I have a new lease X5 here and it's my I dont care car, Nardo colour is a pain to detail of it's marked which makes it worse, if I didn't use the C7 for little trips it would be stuck in the garage and I have to stand by its bought to use . That been said I never take it to Joe public areas, God firbid a weekend ! Or Chrismas shopping ! Christ. That civic pretty much sums it all up. I'm staying indoors till the chaos is gone in January

I think ppf on the doors helps in these situations.
