Dunlop winter tyres - difference?

Hi folks, I tend to buy tyres from Blackcircle and have them fitted locally. They offer 2 Dunlop winter options for the 21s on my RS6 PE. Does anyone know the difference between the two. What does the NST tyre give that the other doesn't? I believe it has something to do with noise shielding. Does that really make a difference? Is it worth the extra £250-ish for fitting all 4?

1) Dunlop SP Winter Sport 4D - £384.29 fitted
2) Dunlop SP Winter Sport 4D NST - £449.02 fitted

My car was supplied new from dealer with Dunlops and the Noise Shield Technology which is, in essence, just a 7" wide strip of foam. I then swapped them for Dunlop winters without NST (from My Tyres) and they are fine. Whilst having only driven low UK mileage since April, I've kept them on all year and can honestly say I've not noticed a great deal of difference in noise.

Hi
I have a very good set of used Dunlop 21’’ winters.
I’ll get the full details tonight and post them up if any interest. Based in Surrey. Don’t have my car any more.
