Can someone recomend some upgraded plugs? thinking of pulling the HP up to around 650 with DMS but before I do I want to change plugs out
I've been looking at NGK that a few tuners use for stage 2 I think ;

Standard plugs are just fine for Stage 1, just need proper gapping

I got mine stage 1 Apr and got plugs done but mustn’t be gapped properly when the car is ticking over it’s like it has a wee misfire you feel it through the car on tick over

The tuners use NGK race plugs but not sure you linked the right ones.

I think this is the correct type:
R7437-9 - NGK Spark Plug Sparkplug - Type : Racing - R74379 No. 4654
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/R7437-9-NGK- ... 1438.l2649
A quick on the forum for R7437 brings up a few hits:
search.php?keywords=R7437&fid%5B0%5D=76

Hmm, MRC have quoted me for slightly different plugs when they remap next month. I like Opie, so would like to send some business that way and save a nice bit of cash, any thought on these NGK Racing 4905 plugs they want to go with, compared to the 4654 plugs mentioned above?

Thanks!

4905 is what anth linked to in his first post. Maybe they are the ones to go for then. I just quoted what had been posted on here before so may not be the ones of choice.

Oops, thanks. Ant, can you remember where you were told to go with the 4905 plugs? Based on what I was quoted I would say you are spot on, but I want to be sure too without phoning MRC to confirm, only to then buy them elsewhere cheaper!

Hi mate, I'm sure these had been used in a Litchfield stage 3 build thead and I called the supplier to confirm last week. I'm sure both would do the Job . Are you going straight to stage 2 Footlong? You will have to let me know the results I've been itching for a while for stage one to get the boost a little more aggressive on feed in throttle (I think the c7 misses this a little)

Yep, going to grab a set thanks. I hardly get to drive the C7 as I bought it for the wife. Not parting with my C5 any time soon and have managed to snag a TC to send away for upgrading for her, but I also work from home and so hardly get to drive anywhere full stop these days....
